And here's how it works:
The magic word for steam sterilization is pressure. This is where our steam boilers come into play. Under normal atmospheric pressure, steam only reaches a maximum temperature of 100°C, as it escapes. With our pressure vessels, the steam is retained – the temperature rises, and with it the pressure. This creates what we call pressurized steam with a high heat content of 121°C to 134°C. Condensation on the cooler sterilized items causes the steam to transfer to them and destroy all microorganisms present there.
