From the interview to the hiring date

  1. Once we receive your application, we’ll get in touch within a few days. We can meet online (MS Teams, Zoom) or at JUMAG in Hirschberg for an initial interview.

  2. There’s no pre-screening in the HR department. During the initial interview, you’ll usually meet with one of our managing directors and a team leader, who can answer any questions you may have about your responsibilities.

  3. We don’t have assessment centers, recruitment tests, or other standardized selection procedures. You’ll receive personalized feedback.

  4. If we think we could be a good fit, we’d be happy to offer you a one-day trial with us. During a trial day, you’ll learn a lot about our products—and meet our teammates.

How quickly does it take from application to hiring?

Whether you can start the next day or in six months often depends on your personal situation. Perhaps you have a longer notice period or need some time to think things over. We’ll just talk about it!

The training at JUMAG

Signed your employment contract and it’s your first day at work? We want you to have a great start to your new career. That’s why we have our JU:CADEMY. Your team leader, teammates, and employees from all departments will devote plenty of time to you. We have a friendly, informal atmosphere; everyone is welcomed with open arms. Look forward to it! Here’s how it works in detail:

Before you start work, you will receive your personalized induction plan. It details when you will be introduced to which areas and activities. In the first few weeks, you will learn about our company, our products, occupational safety, quality management, purchasing, sales, production, installation, and much more.

All clear? Together we’ll test whether your new knowledge has sunk in. Of course, you’ll receive your first JU:CADEMY certificate for this.

We’re not idle either.

Smooth processes are important to us! That’s why we have set procedures for onboarding new colleagues. From PCs to signage for your new office and even business cards.

Off to production!

Whether before, during, or after your training – you’ll definitely get an insight into our production, regardless of your position at JUMAG. This is a valuable and exciting experience that everyone here at JUMAG is welcome to have.

On-the-Job Training

Now things get serious – or rather, the fun really begins! After the training, you’ll receive on-the-job training and be gradually introduced to the subject matter. You’ll be assigned a mentor who you can contact at any time and who will be responsible for you.

Continuing education is always encouraged at JUMAG.

And since you never stop learning, you can always request further training or other courses that can help you do your job even better. From office and language courses to productivity improvement courses, everything is possible.
