About RhönSprudel
Since 1781, the RhönSprudel mineral spring has been rooted in one of Central Germany’s most beautiful natural landscapes, today’s Rhön Biosphere Reserve. With its pure and natural beverages, the group has grown from a small spring business to one of the top 10 among the more than 200 branded spring businesses in Germany. The most important factor for the family business’s success: successful product innovations of the highest quality.
"We chose a JUMAG system back in 2005 and have been very satisfied ever since. It was therefore only logical for us to rely on JUMAG for our second system."
Michael Breidung, Technical Operations Manager at RhönSprudel
Challenge: Safe products for end customers
At RhönSprudel, the two gas-fired steam generators are used to sterilize individual system components. Mr. Breidung explains: “In the food industry, hygiene standards are very high. Our products must be safe for consumption. Steam sterilization is considered the safest method here.”
For RhönSprudel, it is important that the product lines are sterilized reliably without lengthy interruptions. After the positive experience with the first system, the RhönSprudel mineral spring opted for JUMAG again. This also eliminated the need to switch to a new technology.
The solution: Two JUMAG DG360 steam generators
With two DG360 steam generators, RhönSprudel has been sterilizing its plant components with twice the reliability since 2021. The high quality of the systems and the reliability of service and maintenance are a key factor for RhönSprudel’s successful collaboration with JUMAG.
Michael Breidung: “Our JUMAG solution is ideal for companies that want to sterilize systems or parts of them safely and reliably with steam. We are not only satisfied with the high quality of the JUMAG systems, but also with the excellent service. That’s why we are relying on JUMAG quality and service for our second system as well.”
