Challenge: A space-saving and power-operated solution with high performance
When the company began searching for a suitable steam generator that would meet its high requirements, it had no prior experience. This was a new plant and not a replacement for an existing system. Therefore, they consulted experts during their research. The recommendation was clear. Our long-standing partner, Devex Verfahrenstechnik GmbH, recommended JUMAG.
Compared to oil- and gas-fired generators, an electric-powered steam generator emerged as the most efficient solution. It also needed to be space-saving and produce up to 120 kW of power.

Whether for heating solvents to boiling point or for evaporation, the JUMAG EDI 120 delivers on its promise in every application! The system features a state-of-the-art installation and is therefore low-maintenance. This aspect was particularly important to the company. As an electric steam generator, the EDI 120 is remarkably space-saving and durable compared to oil- and gas-powered models. Canexis Pharma AG has thus found a future-proof solution for its company.
Since this is Canexis’s first steam generator, no comparison data is available. However, the simple installation and small footprint suggest significant cost savings. Overall, the company’s entry into the world of steam has been a complete success.
