The feedwater is refilled into the pressure vessel via the flue gas heat exchanger by a boiler pump, depending on the water level in the evaporation system. The burner is always controlled based on the steam pressure. Multi-pass flue gas routing ensures heat transfer from the flue gas to the water via the evaporation system. The steam is dried inside the evaporation system. Finally, additional heat is transferred from the flue gas to the fresh water in countercurrent in the flue gas heat exchanger.
