What are the JUMAG options for and what advantages do they offer?
- Boiler switch-on and switch-off including three pressure stages
With this control option, your JUMAG steam generator can be started or stopped without manual intervention using a timer function. When the steam generator is switched on, the pressure set for specific times is built up and maintained. Three pressure stages are available.
- Automatic blowdown
A steam generator must be blown down regularly. With the automatic blowdown function, this does not have to be done manually, but can be carried out automatically at optimal, predefined times. The blowdown valve opens automatically at individually adjustable intervals. The steam generator is automatically refilled and started again.
The control system can be used to select whether the steam generator should be purged after – a certain number of operating hours,
– at fixed times, or
– after external approval
- External pressure specification
The steam pressure can be specified and varied externally (e.g., by the building management system) using the “External steam pressure specification” option. Either 0-10V or 4-20mA signals are processed for this purpose.
