Der Textilservice Petri ist eine breit aufgestellte Wäscherei und Reinigung, die nahezu alle Textilien selbst bearbeitet. Der Fokus des Unternehmens liegt jedoch im Bereich Hotel- und Restaurantwäsche. Bei ihrer Arbeit setzt die Wäscherei größten Wert auf Qualität, Hygiene, Zuverlässigkeit und eine persönliche Note.

Challenge: Reliable supply of steam
Before deploying the two JUMAG DG 560 steam generators, Textilservice Petri operated with a so-called shell boiler. Dirk Petri: “At some point, we were always worried that spare parts would no longer be available. But we can’t operate without steam, and this put our ability to deliver to our customers at risk. We had to and wanted to prevent that.” It was therefore clear to Dirk Petri that new steam equipment was needed quickly.
This also meant solving the second problem with the old boiler. Operating the system was not particularly easy. This meant that only selected employees could start operations – and even then, it required a long warm-up phase.
Solution: Two JUMAG DG560
Petri Textile Service ultimately opted for two JUMAG DG560 boilers in a compact modular design. Even if one system fails, a second is always available to maintain business operations. Thanks to the ease of operation, the morning effort has been reduced to virtually zero. Dirk Petri: “We gain about 20 minutes per day, which we can now use for other purposes.”
The textile service also did everything right with regard to energy costs. The company saves about 5% with the JUMAG system. Given the high energy prices, this significantly reduces the strain on the laundry’s budget.
