Sustainable and economical: Utilizing energy from condensate return
When large amounts of condensate flow back into the feed water tank at high temperatures, steam is generated that cannot be used. If a steam heat exchanger is connected to the vent pipe of the feed water tank, the energy released can be used to heat softened water for other purposes.
For example, with 100% condensate return and a return temperature of 160°C, approx. 12% of the output is lost as wet steam.
This output can be used by the wet steam heat exchanger. An economical and sustainable solution.
